CoMA offers Denver a Choice of Mediators & Arbitrators

CoMA offers the Denver Metropolitan community and Colorado a choice between mediators and arbitrators when a case is filed. Each side is given three resumes from which to identify a first and second choice. The overlapping named mediator or arbitrator is assigned the case.

What choice exists if you don't know anything about the proposed mediator or arbitrator?  Great question!  CoMA has created a biographical sketch of each panel member that includes many of the following:  Resume or Curriculum Viate/CV, Letters of Recommendation and Praise, an Interview that allows you to hear individual mediators/arbitrators' priorites and orientations, and published articles.

Parties tend to value experience differently, with some placing a higher premium on legal knowledge and others valuing practical experience within a given professional field.
