Colorado Mediators & Arbitrators LLC administers arbitrations for large claims of $75,000 - $1,000,000. We do not accept initial claims that exceed one million dollars at this time.
We are a boutique forum that emphasizes the traditional principles of arbitration:
-
Less Costly
-
Less Formal
-
Expeditious Time Frames
Contracts with arbitration provisions require that parties file with an arbitration forum rather than filing the dispute in court.
-
Arbitration offers a less formal hearing. Many parties feel they can manage the arbitration process without the representation of an attorney, which significantly reduces costs. A legal process is more complicated, and what is saved in administrative fees may be paid out for legal representation.
-
Arbitration saves total time from starting the case to completion. This is especially true in our current economy, as governments struggle to meet expenses through court staff reductions.
-
CoMA's Expedited Arbitration process saves money. The flat fee for 4 hours of hearing encourages parties to present the most important points of their case while keeping an eye on total cost for resolution. The parties drive the process however; when additional time is needed, it is available in 15 minute incremental charges.
